As guides ourselves for the past 13 years, our favorite part of being in business is getting out on the river with you, our guests. We try to be on as many of our trips as possible, and the quality of the rest of our guide crew is a high priority for us. Our guides are friends and acquaintances whom we have worked with over the last 15+ years; some are professionals in other fields who we have trained ourselves. Some trained us in when we were just baby boatmen!! The North Star crew is prepared to educate you on all aspects of the river and canyon, and each person brings their own expertise to the trip—whether it be canyon history, fishing instruction, a good story at the dinner table, or finesse in the kitchen.
